Your key rights under the Package Travel RegulationsRead
[DRAFT — PENDING SOLICITOR REVIEW] You will receive all essential information about the package before concluding the package travel contract. There is always at least one trader liable for the proper performance of all the travel services included in the contract. You are given an emergency telephone number or details of a point of contact through which you can reach the organiser. You may transfer the package to another person, subject to reasonable notice and possible additional costs. The price of the package may only be increased in the limited circumstances set out in the booking terms, and never later than 20 days before departure. If the price increase exceeds the statutory threshold you may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee. You may cancel without a termination fee before the start of the package in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. If essential elements of the package cannot be provided as agreed, you are entitled to a suitable alternative or a price reduction, and to compensation where applicable. You must be given assistance if you are in difficulty. If the organiser becomes insolvent, payments will be refunded and, where transport is included in the package, your repatriation is secured.
